Night Transport Clerk required by a leading Transport Company based in Wakefield - GBP21,000
A leading Transport Company based in Wakefield is currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Clerk to ensure the complete Briefing & De-briefing of all Drivers on their busy Night Shift. You will be working on the busy Night Shift and should ensure Night work will be suitable for your lifestyle.
Experience of completing Driver Briefs / De-briefs is essential.
The Package:
GBP18,000 - GBP21,000
28 days holiday
5 days of 7 (predominantly Monday - Friday)
Night Shifts - 21:00 - 06:00

The Role:
As Night Transport Clerk you will be responsible for the complete Brief & De-Brief of all drivers across the Night Shift.
It is your responsibility to ensure all drivers have the correct paperwork and keys.
You will be required to collect and deal with all POD's on Drivers return.
It is part of the Transport Clerks role to complete any administration duties as required.
You will be working in a busy Transport office supporting a busy Traffic Planning desk.
All tachographs must be analysed and you are responsible for raising attention to infringements.
It is essential you complete all duties fully, accurately and in good time.
The Requirements:
Transport Office experience is required
Experience completing full Driver Briefs and De-briefs is essential
Experience working Nights is highy beneficial but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Can-do attitude
Good IT skills
