Bond Williams Accounting & Finance are recruiting a Temporary Auditor for a large global business based at their site in Plymouth. The assignment is to start asap until end May 2017.
Reporting to the Compliance Manager and the Head of Quality (Management Systems), you would have responsibility for undertaking a programme of multi-functional, management system audits across the site.
The audits are designed to deliver stakeholder confidence in the effectiveness of the management system and you would have responsibility for planning and implementing a programme of audits to assess effectiveness of processes to highlight good practice and potential weaknesses/risks, review of findings of independent assurance activities, reporting levels of compliance and recommending corrective and preventative actions, reporting any opportunities to improve performance, analysis of management system performance, interpreting and communicating changes to Standards, attending meetings to discuss continuous improvements and other ad hoc audit and risk management responsibilities.
You will need to have a strong audit, risk and compliance background with experience of identifying risk in processes and systems and ensuring improvements are delivered. An accountancy/audit qualification would be desirable but experience is more important. Availability to start within the next 2 weeks is essential.
