The Company
Our client has grown to be one of the UK's largest suppliers of heavy side construction products such as rebar, spacers, mortars, construction chemicals and formwork into the Civil, Groundwork and Construction industry. This growth has seen the company turnover increase and their ability to service clients far beyond their expectations. With continued support for training with a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted our client is now looking to expand their operations in the Western Suburbs area of London, applicants within the M25 on the Western side of outer London to look after both the London Central area and out to the Home Counties.
The Role
This is a fundamental role in the company's business strategy and requires an individual of a strong construction technical nature. Operating the southern region, you will be responsible for the extensive existing accounts our client has in the area as well as being challenged with the development of new business opportunities in the area. This will include the promotion of our client's core products, promoting the pre-fabricated and bespoke formwork solutions and ancillary products into all construction, main and subcontractors, civil engineering and ground-works companies. You will work autonomously in the office and field environments developing the company's ongoing business strategy and control of their already large market share in the area and you will play an integral part in the company's development. As well as the standard products our client wishes applicants to at all time look to extend their customers knowledge of the extensive total product range that they are able to supply, selling for a company with a well-known brand name and looking to give added value to their customers.
The Candidate
Suitable applicants must be able to show strong experience of the above markets and be looking for a challenging new role. Sales experience is required however applicants must also have experience of dealing at a construction technical level and must enjoy the technical challenges this role provides. Candidates presently in an internal construction sales role or an established field based construction sales role would be ideal as product training will be given. The key to this role is a good construction based sales background selling to Contractors both on site and to buyers and purchasing departments.
The successful applicant will be a dynamic addition that will demonstrate an active business awareness of the potential and importance of this role.
Basic Salary GBP35-37K + OTE + Full company benefits and company car allowance
