Job Title: Machine Technician
Salary: GBP7.80 - GBP10 (Plus night shift allowance and additional benefits)
Job Type: Permanent, Day/Night rotating shift.
We are looking for a technician to come and join the team and get trained up to work in an electronics automated production area, where we program a variety of different electronic chips that are used across a range of different industries. Anything from a normal computer chip to an ECU for a racing car.
Key requirements:

*Willing to work overtime if its required to stay ahead
*Understanding and appreciation of electronics
*Willing to work night shifts
What you will be doing:
You will be undertaking the placing of electronic chips into the appropriate housing so that a computer program can be written to it. There are 2 ways of doing this, one is to manually place the chip onto a programming board, write the program to the chip and place it into the next stage of the process. The other is to gather a number of chips, place them into a tray so that a pick and place machine can do the same process. The benefit of a machine doing it is that it can run 24/7.
For the machine to run 24/7, it requires a technician so oversee the operation of the pick and place machines. The means that if a component should get jammed, you would have to go and tend to the machine until it is operational. Full training will be provided.
