Head of Ecology - Suffolk

Our client is an award winning Environmental consultancy that deals with a wide range of projects including contemporary designs, town extensions, private and public sector developments and due to great success is seeking to appoint a Head of Ecology in their office based in Suffolk.

Requirements:

- A degree in Ecology or similar Environmental discipline
- Have a minimum of 10 years Ecological experience
- Project management experience
- Experience in business development
- CIEEM membership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in mitigation
- At least one protected species license (e,g. bat, GCN, dormouse, or barn owl)
- Good presentation and reporting skills
- To be an enthusiastic and positive team member
- Full driving license

Responsibilities:

- Motivate the team toward targets
- Supervise ecological surveys and reports
- Ensure each team member is fully and correctly trained
- Liaise with a range of clients and senior management
- Produce and manage budgets and forecasts
- Create professional relationships as well as strengthening existing
