Senior Content Marketing Specialist

Elevation Marketing are currently recruiting a Senior Content Marketing Specialist for a growing marketing services business based in the West Yorkshire area.

Based in Huddersfield and reporting to the Head of Digital the successful candidate will be an integral part of the team where you will take responsibility for the following activities:

*Developing a content and marketing plan that supports the objective of becoming the number one in the sector
*Responsible for reviewing and updating all the current content and producing customer focused content and engaging copy, including how to guides, case studies, FAQs, blogs, news etc
*Managing the editorial and marketing content for online activities
*Supporting the overall SEO strategy for the business to drive website performance in organic search rankings and links and producing supporting landing pages for paid marketing activity
*Producing regular fresh content that will help with SEO performance and link building
*Working closely with the PR and B2B marketing team to ensure any content produced for the organisation is of the highest quality
*Collaborating with other departments to produce content of a journalistic mind-set to position the business as industry experts
*Identifying and implementing improvements to the website. This includes tasks such as improving layouts of pages, increasing the visibility of content, navigation improvements and investigating new technologies to deliver a cutting edge web presence
*Using analytics tools to ensure you are producing the right content and copy that will not only improve the customer journey but also improve online conversions

Elevation Marketing would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

*Previous copywriting experience in a consumer facing role
*You will be highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven and rely on data to make decisions
*Excellent grammar and spelling
*Some exposure to PR would be useful
*Ability to research and synthesise content and produce it in an original format
*Understand the link between content and SEO
*Have used web analytics tools and be able to interpret the information to make meaningful copywriting decisions
*Experience of producing and optimizing content to improve conversions and the customer journey
*CMS experience (ideally Sitecore)
*Content marketing experience
*Experience of working in a KPI driven environment with clear evidence of how you have achieved and exceeded goals and targets
