Data Analyst

This Cheddar, Somerset based company is seeking a passionate Data Analyst who is an innovative thinker with the ability to identify and work logically through problems and provide solutions. This role is full time working Monday to Friday with a salary of ??17,000 - ??22,000 PA DOE. Your key responsibilities will include; Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and data quality Acquiring data from multiple data sources and maintaining databases and systems Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets Filtering and cleansing data, reviewing reports and key performance indicators to identify, locate and communicate and issues Working closely with management and project teams to prioritise business, client and information needs Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities Maintaining technical documentation You will need to have proven working experience as a data analyst and strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages including SQL, MySQL. You must possess excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Working with different data sets and requirements on a daily basis must excite you and not be a challenge whilst it is imperative you can work productively as part of a team and be able to communicate with people at all levels. Your organisational skills must be strong as key to this role is meeting client deadlines as is the ability to demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy at all times whilst maintaining company standards.
