Value Stream Manager - Portsmouth - cGBP37,500 - Permanent
An Aerospace Manufacture based in Portsmouth are looking to recruit a Value Stream Manager on a permanent basis.
This role takes responsibility for the production/manufacturing function encompassing circa 60 staff through 2 direct reports.
Working within a high value, low volume electronic/electromechanical manufacturing environment you will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery to production plans, leading and developing the production supervisory team to maximise output and efficiencies. Managing resource and performance utilising KPIs across departments. You will be expected to review processes, procedures and SOPs and update where necessary.
For the position of Value Stream Manager it is essential that you have previous experience of managing an electro mechanical manufacturing function. The ability to report KPIs and performance, implement continuous improvement initiatives therefore six sigma certification would be advantageous.
You will need to develop collaborative working relationships with other departments working with Quality, Engineering and Planning.
The ideal candidate will come from an Aerospace or Manufacturing background and ideally have a HNC or above qualification. Man management and Lean implementation experience are at the forefront of the requirements for this role.
