Technical and Operations Support Coordinator

Technical and Operations Support Coordinator -Spider. The region's Fixed Fee Web Recruitment Company are pleased to be supporting this well-established snack food company based in rural North Essex with the search for a Technical and Operations Support Coordinator. This family founded business successfully produce and deliver their products not only locally but nationally and overseas. The key focus of this role will be ensuring all aspects of product quality, safety and legality including compliance and legislation are adhered too.

Forming part of the HACCP team and reporting directly to the Head of Operations you will also be responsible for the following -

- Management of QMS systems
- Obtain a full understanding of the operations process to help develop continuous improvements
- Internal auditing
- Specification management
- Risk assessments
- Stock taking of raw materials and packaging
- Order placement for above as well as general consumables
- Investigation and follow up of customer complaints
- Using own knowledge to develop site skills, monitor and initiate training
- Lead and manage the site NPD requirements
- Produce samples for customers
- Work with suppliers to maintain or enhance quality standards
- Achieve and maintain BRC accreditation

The ideal candidate will possess the following -

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to work well within an extended team
- A self-starter and highly motivated
- Driven to develop themselves with the business
- Previous experiencing of writing and maintaining QMS system
- Experience of both QC and Technical functions
- Experience of BRC systems
- Practical experience of system implementation within operations

Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 7am-6pm to meet business requirements. A competitive salary is on offer dependant on experience along with 5 weeks holiday per year plus bank holidays.
