Head of Facilities
Due to continued growth and expansion we are now looking to appoint into the newly created role of Head of Facilities, with the aim of providing effective leadership and direction across our existing facilities teams.
Responsible for numerous sites across the South West and London, you will look to develop and drive an effective facilities strategy to deliver Client Hospitality, Reception services, successful office moves and relocations, and the management of services and processes that support the Partners and employees of Thrings, Paragon Costs, Hyphen Law and Novum Law to fulfil their long and short term objectives as targeted by the business plan.
The Head of Facilities will ensure that the firm has the most suitable working environment for its Partners and employees and their business activities. Specifically:
1. Ensuring that all external Clients have an excellent "First Impression" of the firm, with a warm, friendly and professional welcome, attentive service, high standards of Client Hospitality and meeting or exceeding Clients' expectations.
2. Ensuring that all Facilities services and equipment are delivered efficiently and effectively to the Partners and employees
3. Project managing fit out plans / costings / property / facilities aspects of new office buildings we will be taking on or moving to in the future.
4. Ensuring that the office complies with Health & Safety regulations, in conjunction with consultants as appropriate
5. Managing and directing the Facilities teams and 3rd Party suppliers and contractors as appropriate to meet the demands of the firm
The successful candidate will have a Diploma Standard education or equivalent Facilities Management qualifications combined with Strong Facilities Management experience, with demonstrable people management skills and ideally previous experience of project management of large projects, whilst holding third party contractors to account for their deliverables.
