They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them in Bristol to carry out and complete accurate build cost assessments of acquired land, maintain budget control throughout development, whilst managing cost overruns within tolerance levels. You will prepare tenders, manage sub-contractors, materials, and evaluating and agreeing variations and instructions.
Candidates will have experience within a similar role and will be qualified to HNC level or higher and will have relevant experience either in or outside the housebuilding sector. Methodical, conscientious and organised, you will work to deliver high standards, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
You will be required to gather, interpret and present data to facilitate the preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations and therefore you must be highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
