Salary upto GBP35k depending on experience plus annual bonus

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an industry leading acclaimed global company. You will assist in production activity control in order to meet business and financial objectives. Working closely with the manufacturing team to plan and manage production tasks in order to improve runtime.

Duties include

- To assist in production activity control
- Working alongside the manufacturing team to plan and manage production tasks in order to improve efficiency
- Ensure that you maintain up to date knowledge on company objectives, production strategies and support activity.
- Analyse and review production plans to identify and report potential risks to Planning and Procurement
- Develop inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and excesses
- Assist in processing customer orders and shipments according to established schedule
- Review job orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules
- Monitor the execution of job orders and adjust schedules for timely delivery
- Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations
- Work with Planning and Procurement Manager in resolving production planning and control issues as well as preparing job order documents
- Together with cross functional teams work to complete job orders on time and within customer specifications
- Regularly communicate production updates to Managers and customers on a regular basis

- Skills and experiences required for the role

- Excellent communication skills and experience of liaising internally within the team and externally with customers
- Effective organisational skills are essential in order to schedule
- Experience in ensuring that effective systems are implanted and maintained
- Minimum of three years manufacturing/logistics experience within a customer service environment or the ability to demonstrate the skills required
- Good level of written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and articulate telephone manner
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Adaptive to change and able to multitask
- Committed to promoting a high quality standard at all times
- Flexible and proactive
- Able to stay calm under pressure, react quickly and effectively when dealing with challenging situations
- Good problem analysis and problem solving
