Warehouse Supervisor

A global retail manufacturer is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their growing team at their Radstock site. Client Details Our client is a global player in manufacturing distribution industry, boasting the contracts to numerous prestigious brands the company's growing site in Radstock is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to manage a team warehouse staff across the warehouse operation. Description Directly reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will directly manage a team of 60 staff within an FMCG warehouse environment;Ensuring that product quality if maintained through the warehouse operation;Leading Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives in all aspects of the operation and making sure all adhere to KPI's with the goal of maximum efficiency to continuously improve the site operation;Coaching and mentoring colleagues understanding of operation to constantly strive for improvements;Clearly communicating areas of improvement and making sure adjustments are maintained;Making sure all warehouse staff adhere to company health and safety regulations, and;Collating relevant and accurate data for an effective handover. Profile Previous management credentials within a fast-moving, high volume warehouse operation;Previous WMS experience and implementing system and working practices therein;Proven track record of managing a team of Team Leaders within a warehouse setting;Past experience of dealing with grievances and disciplinary procedures;Previous Stock Control experience;IT literate on Microsoft package;Strong verbal and written communication to both colleague and customer, and;Knowledge of warehouse health and safety regulations.
