Our client, who are a nationwide fleet specialist, are looking for a Service Manager to join their site in South Bristol.
The main purpose of the role will be to ensure the effective and efficient management of the activities carried out by the Aftersales department including service, plant and operational activities, so as to maintain and develop the department function in line with the business needs.

In return you will receive a salary of ??35,000 - ??40,000 (depending on experience), a bonus on top of the salary, working the hours of 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday & an excellent benefits package that will include a company car with free parking.

The key duties of the post are as follows:

- Manage and control the day to day after sales activities to ensure that customer requirements, quality and standards are maintained.
- Effective management of hours bought and sold including salaries and overtime.
- Control workshop costs including repair and maintenance spend and third party repairs in line with agreed budgets.
- Oversee the management and development of the Parts Department including maintenance of stock levels and parts issue.
- Management of the Compliance and Administration Manager for all compliance and Admin procedures.
- Ensure Depot health and safety is adhered to.
- Responsible for the Management, recruitment and development of all after sales staff.
- Resolve all customer/invoice queries
- Overall control of Mobile technicians and vehicles including maintenance and repair of their vehicles
- Ensure high levels of service and customer satisfaction are met

Other Duties:

- Management of 3rd party repair agents for compliance, standards and cost
- Monitor measure and report on workshop plans, issues and achievements within agreed timescales.
- Support Sales/Key Accounts team in customer reviews and issue resolution
- Liaise with other Managers so as to understand and support all aspects of the business.
