HR ManagerFixed term contract July 2017??39,324 - ??46,924North East SomersetMonday - FridayI am currently looking to recruit a HR Manager for a well-established leading University in North East Somerset.I am looking for someone either full time or part timeThis is an excellent opportunity to work in a fulfilling and developing HR reward role.The successful candidate will understands the importance of reward, benefits, job evaluation and terms and conditions to recruiting, retaining and motivating excellent staff and who can help keep ahead of the competition. This is an interesting and varied role working closely with the Director of HR and HR teams and the University's leaders, managers and staff.You will need to be a credible and proactive CIPD registered HR professional with specialised expertise in reward and a track record of making a difference.Main DutiesTo ensure the integrity of the University's grading structure through:" Managing the grading review process for new and existing jobs (Grades 1 to 9) using HERA and in line with the Job Evaluation & Grading Review procedure." Chair the Grading Review panels and work closely with HR Managers (Business Partners) to ensure jobs are graded in a consistent and timely manner." Managing of annual progression increments for staff paid in Grades 1 to 9." Managing the application and review of additional pay supplements to staff." To advise staff and managers on a range of employee reward policies, developing new policies as required." To manage the University's Contribution Pay Scheme. To take responsibility for:" all communications and publicity" the quality of management information shared with managers" updating of the Human Resources website" co-ordination of panel meetings in conjunction with Vice-Chancellor's Office" scrutiny of cases" ensuring outcomes are processed and communicated." To undertake University-wide equal pay reviews." To lead an internal team of Web Editors in maintaining and developing the Department of Human Resources web pages in close liaison with Web Services" To manage the University's salary exchange schemes (e.g. childcare voucher scheme, workplace nursery scheme), helping to develop and implement new schemes as required." To complete a range of national pay and grading surveys and benchmarking surveys on behalf of the University.Skills and Experience Required" CIPD postgraduate Diploma/ Grad CIPD Status and evidence on continuing professional development including specialised training in related aspects of HR Management" Registered with CIPD or Grad CIPD or higher" Knowledge of Higher Education environment" Successful track record of achieving results in a HR management role" Experience of policy development and implementation" Strong customer focus" Excellent communication skills - verbally and in writing" Able to communicate highly sensitive and complex issues clearly and straightforwardly to managers and staff.If you are interested in applying for this role please send your CV to Due to the high volume of CVS should you not receive a reply within 5 working days then I am sorry you have not been shortlisted on this occasion please carry on applying for further roles on our website.
