The Liberty of Earley House is currently looking for an outstanding Deputy Home Manager to drive forward and develop the care and range of services on offer to our Residents.

The Liberty of Earley House is a modern care home run by the Earley Charity for the Residents of Wokingham. The home consists of 31 bedsits and flats where residents are encouraged to live independently but support given to them as required by a caring team of staff. A range of activities are offered to the Residents including trips out and quizzes.

The Deputy Manager will lead and support the care staff in providing a high quality service to the Residents and their Relatives. You will responsible for the preparation and implementation of new policies and procedures and the development and presentation of training to your Team to ensure the wellbeing of the Residents.

Previous experience in the care industry is essential and you will hold the NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care Qualification or be in the process of studying for this or be prepared to study for this qualification. You will be required to support the Registered Home Manager in developing the Home and improving the activities and services available to the Residents along with assessing potential residents or ones returning from hospital.
