This company, innovators in delivering solutions in hearing health, is looking for an enthusiastic graduate to join their small but growing team in Preston as a Financial Analyst.
You will work with the team in their Preston offices to provide financial reporting, accounting tasks and numeric strategic support to the Managing Director, sales organisation and to their Swiss parent company.
They will put the successful graduate through ACCA training and provide all the support needed to develop into a financial accountant, to be able to effectively manage all aspects of their financial and accounting needs - and more importantly provide input to drive operational decisions and development of overall company strategy.
Responsibilities will include:
- Bookkeeping with Sage Accounting Software
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of Month End Accounts
- Preparation of Year End Accounts
- General operational support
- Sales analysis and KPI overviews
This role would be ideally suited to someone who:
- Has recently graduated with a minimum of a 2:1 degree,
- Has an aptitude for working with numbers
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office - particularly Excel
- Experience in working with Sage and/or other Accounting Software
- Has excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Has a passion for analysis
