Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Director from Financial Services to join their team.

Job Title: Sales Director – Financial Services

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £90K - £110K plus bonus and excellent benefits package

Our client is a market leading provider of investigation services for UK and Europe. Established before the millennium, they are now recognised as the number 1 in their field, holding over 50% of the market.

Sales Director - The Role

The opportunity has arisen for a Sales Director to lead and develop the sales function whilst diversifying the business into new markets and expanding brand presence.

Our client has an exciting and ambitious growth plan to double their turnover in the next 5 years through acquisitions and strategic development activity. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying new areas and opportunities in which to growth the business and subsequently continue to grow your team around you.

This is a relationship driven position; you will be an excellent door opener and will have the ability to network and develop outstanding relationships with future customers and introducers of business. You will have experience of high value deals, securing contracts worth £500K to £1.5M annual revenue.

Sales Director – You

You will have a track record of new business development and key account management with the ability of working well under pressure and building relationships with C-level clients. You will work autonomously and will be trusted to manage your own diary therefore you must be driven and motivated.

You will have a background working within or selling into the Financial Services industry, perhaps with experience of pensions or banking fields which would be highly desirable.

Both the Marketing and Sales functions fall under the Sales Director’s remit, so you will manage a team of 7 made up of senior and junior Account Managers as well as a Marketing Manager. These disciplines will be yours to change and develop as you see fit.
