Head of Sales
THE COMPANY
The Brewster Pratap Recruitment Group are currently working alongside a Doncaster based business Financial Services to recruit a Head of Sales.
My client are a leading employer in the South Yorkshire area and this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Sales / Head of Call Centre to join the team. Ideally located and close to motorway links, my client are within close proximity of Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Mexborough, Doncaster and surrounding areas.
THE JOB
As Head of Sales duties will include:
- Managing the day to day running of the call centre, including sourcing equipment, effective resource planning and implementing call centre strategies and operations
- Developing and improving sales calls standards
- Carrying out needs assessments, performance reviews and cost/benefit analyses
- Setting and meeting performance targets for speed, efficiency, sales and quality
- Ensuring all relevant communications, records and data are updated and recorded
- Advising clients on products and services available
- Liaising with supervisors, team leaders, operatives and third parties to gather information and resolve issues
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and involvement in networks
- Monitoring random calls to improve quality, minimise errors and track operative performance
- Co-ordinating staff recruitment, including writing vacancy advertisements and liaising with HR staff
- Reviewing the performance of staff, identifying training needs and planning training sessions
- Recording statistics, user rates and the performance levels of the centre and preparing reports
- Handling the most complex customer complaints or enquiries
- Coaching, motivating and retaining staff and co-ordinating bonus, reward and incentive schemes
THE PERSON
- Proven track record in outbound contact centre management ideally within Finance Industry
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing sales call centres
- Proven experience of writing & implementing a structured sales process
- Excellent skills on Power Point, Excel, Word & Outlook required
- Working as part of the management team to deliver an overall result for the Customer Service Unit
- A high degree of analytical MI and verbal skills
- Experience of developing staff at Team Leader Level and operator level

- Salary of GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 dependant on experience
