A market leader in Promotional Merchandise (Premiums) is looking for a new business Sales Director to expand its already thriving market share in the UK. My client has shown tremendous year on year growth and offering a fantastic package to suit the right candidate.

Package - GBP70,000 basic, uncapped OTE GBP100,000 + Benefits

The Role
As the Sales Director you will be based in the south east of England (ideally in the Essex area) and you will be charged with managing a team of 5 (Business Development and Account Managers), while also leading the development of new business acquisition in the Health & Beauty and Food & beverage markets. You will take the lead on strategy, P&L, and use your industry knowledge to prospect suitable new clients by promoting the company's offerings. You will be expected to generate upwards of GBP2m worth of pipeline in the first year. You will also take the lead in growing and developing the company by recruiting and growing the sales team.

The Candidate
The successful candidate for this Sales Director position should have previous experience and a proven track record of successful sales and management in promotional merchandise, in particular, premiums. We will consider Director level candidates with experience selling into the Health & Beauty or Food & Beverage markets (especially if you have worked with and sold to tier 1 accounts). Experience in leading and delivering presentations and negotiations is a must! You will spend the majority of the time in the office so it is ideal if you are based in and around the Essex area.

The Package
For this Sales Director role you will be rewarded with a basic salary of between GBP60,000 and GBP70,000, plus an uncapped commission structure bringing OTE to around GBP100,000. Additional benefits include a mobile, laptop, and more.
