This role is based within a multi style retail business across different brands. Fast and Fresh are the Development Agents for SUBWAY® within the Granada region. The development agent currently oversees the running of over 200 stores which are franchise owned and will grow significantly over the forthcoming years. This is a demanding role supporting our franchisees and ensuring the SUBWAY® chain's strict standards are maintained to the highest level.
The role requires flawlessly executing the implementation of corporate policies and programmes that will have a direct impact on the profitability of the market
You will be responsible for delivering detailed store evaluations and making pertinent recommendations to franchise owners with regard to opportunities that exist within our system, to build up chain policies, procedures and performance using your knowledge of all SUBWAY® standards. Additional responsibilities include; implementing company initiatives, identifying new location opportunities for territorial growth, updating the Development Manager on performance status of locations, assisting franchise owners with restaurant design and construction requirements and providing further support via franchisee meetings and training seminars.
Market development with include strategic planning to profitably build market share through local store marketing strategies on current locations and identifying opportunities to build new stores and assist with providing business planning through financial reviews to maximize franchisee profitability.
The role is field based necessitates travel around the Granada region and some overnight stays will be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties will include but are not limited to;
- The achievement of operational excellence by conducting monthly store evaluations
- Implementing new ideas through coaching, training and mentoring
- Assisting franchise owners in the strategic planning to profitably
- Build market share through local store marketing strategies on current locations
- Perform demographic analysis of stores
- Identifying opportunities to build new stores
- Analyse data and look for trends, irregularities and offer developments were appropriate
- Travel around the Granada region
- Occasional work in SUBWAY® stores across the region

Qualifications:
Post High School Education and/or food related industry experience and training. Extensive SUBWAY® Operations knowledge and experience are preferred but not essential.
