Behaviour support assistant - Barnsley

£60 - £80 per day

Starting immediately - July 2017

We are seeking an experienced enthusiastic behaviour support assistant to join a popular school in Doncaster. The school is committed to providing the very best for the children so that they will each have the knowledge, skills and confidence to achieve their best and be ready for the next steps of their lifelong learning journey. This is a pastoral role and you will be working in groups with the students and working closely with their families.

Requirements:

* SEN experience
* Experienced in pastoral care
* The ability to build good rapport with students
* Enthusiasm commitment and flexibility

Responsibilities:

* Working with vulnerable students within groups or 1 to 1
* Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
* Participating in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events
