Contract Software Engineer (SCADA) Staffordshire - GBP30 p/h
I'm currently recruiting for a Contract Software Engineer to join an expanding Software Development team; the successful candidate will be working alongside an established team of Software Developers and will be assisting with the development, research, design and testing of in-house software systems.
The successful candidate will have some of the following skills;
Degree educated in Electrics or Computer Science
SCADA implementation
SysML
Programming experience in any Object Orientated programming language
Any experience in HVDC is desirable
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the development, research, design, implementation, testing and evaluation of software and systems
Applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
Analyse software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
Formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
Key Skills: SCADA, OOP, SysML, Degree educated, HVDC.
