Embedded Systems / Software Engineer - Bristol / S Wales
A great opportunity for an experienced Embedded Systems / Software Developer to see their work embodied in millions of consumer devices around the world. Contributing to the development of cutting edge deeply embedded communications technology, you'll join a talented software team developing low-power Bluetooth IP.
Your Skills & Background should include:
- A good Honours Degree in an Engineering related discipline.
- C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- High level languages such as Matlab and Python.
- Assembler level programming.
- Optimising for performance, power consumption and memory usage.
Also good to have:
- Understanding of DSP fundamentals.
- Exposure to Layer 1 (Physical) & Layer 2 (Data Link) communications stack development.
This Embedded Systems / Software Developer role will involve design, verification, development, validation and demonstration of the latest new features and performance enhancements. In the long term the work may involve WiFi or 802.15.4.
A highly competitive salary package will be offered to the successful individual.
