Business Development Coordinator required on a 14 month FTC to cover maternity leave. This role is part time, working three days per week (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday).

To be considered for this role you will ideally have some sort of sales or project coordination experience and be available to start in February 2017 to have a handover with the current incumbent.

Key duties:

- Coordinating business development activities
- Supporting sales activities with an emphasis on tender and proposal activities, working closely with various consultants
- Being main point of contact for sales team members
- Sales activities
-Ensuring sales leads are dealt with in a timely manner, supporting the team where appropriate
- Producing documents and PowerPoint presentations for client meetings
- Organising regular sales meetings and update consultants and sales team with any relevant information
- Proposals and tenders
- Working closely with the Financial Controller and consultants to pursue prospective clients
- Producing client proposals and tenders including PowerPoint presentations and any other material or documents as required by the prospective client
- Ensuring your time is managed correctly in order to get tenders completed on time
- Making sure all material or documentation is proof-read - a keen eye for detail is essential in this task
- Ensuring templates are updated as needed
- Using various portals to submit tender responses
- Keeping all system information up to date
- Other duties include: Using Sage to keep information up to date, any adhoc projects as required, keeping website up to date, supporting the PA, providing additional support across the team in instances of sickness or holiday

Skills required

- Advanced Word, PowerPoint, Excel and database skills
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Need to be extremely well organised to manage your time effectively and get tenders out on time
- Previous project work experience ideal
- Must have the ability to work autonomously at times
- A good team player who can help out in other departments where required
- To be considered for this role you must be able to have some degree of flexibility with hours during busy periods
