Independent distributor of chemicals is looking to introduce a new telesales business development executive to their London office.
- Established for over 300 years
- UK turnover of GBP400 million
- Represent the world's largest chemical manufacturers
- The London facility has huge capacity to store stock for immediate dispatch
The Role:
The role of Internal Business Development Manager involves:
- A new position for the company, offering a chance to inject your personality and knowledge to the role with a view to eventually expanding and taking the role of Internal Sales Manager
- Generating new leads as well as increasing sales from an existing CRM system
- Targeted industries include animal feed, pool care, pharmaceuticals, printing and cleaning
- The chemicals are purchased in bulk and typically resold in 4-6 tonne batches to customers
- This is an outbound telesales role. You will be expected to generate your own leads
The Ideal Person:
- A chemical engineering graduate
Or
- Telesales experience in a related industry - chemicals, engineering, manufacturing ideally
- Ambitious to establish a new department and eventually expand into a small team
