This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join a well-known, leading Civil and Structural consultancy based in Brighton. Our client has a brilliant reputation in the area and is well recognised for working on an interesting mix of diverse and innovative structural design projects from schools to houses, power stations, recycling centres, libraries and coastal defences. Many of the staff rapidly progress their careers with a comprehensive training scheme and packed training programme in place. The training programme for Chartered Engineers boasts impressive results and current staff pass rates are nearly 78% (Structures) and 100% (Civils).
Outside of the office they also run a number of highly successful sports teams, 5-a-side football, basketball and the occasional cricket!
In order to be considered for this Senior Structural Engineer role you will;
- Have gained a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (A Masters being preferred)
- You will be Chartered or working towards Chartership
- You will have a minimum of 4 years or more structural design experience from a consultancy environment
- You will have a working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Any previous experience in use of TEDDS/Revit/Tekla etc. would be beneficial
- You will work well as part of a close knit design team
- You'll have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- You'll be keen to develop and progress
