NHS Pay scale band 5 £21,909.00 to £28,462.00 plus shift working enhancements

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board operational Estates Department based at Glan Clwyd Hospital are seeking 3 enthusiastic self motivated shift working Electrical/Mechanical Engineers with bias Electrical knowledge to work within a large modern organisation.

You should have experience of maintenance and fault finding on complex building services, plant and equipment to a high level of competency and be able to work autonomously.

Knowledge and experience of systems such as Fire alarms, PLC/Building Management System controls, lifts, LV power distribution systems, Emergency stand by generators and their associated control systems, Gas maintenance work, Boilers and Estates Department Maintenance craft person.

The Estates Department provides a comprehensive maintenance repair and installation service of buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.

To work autonomously as a specialist craftsperson in area of expertise, planning and responding to Planned Preventive Maintenance and emergency calls.

The post requires frequent concentration to diagnose faults and the adaptability to respond to frequent interruptions and deal with unplanned maintenance issues and to partake in shift rota and on-call duties.

Minimum requirement HNC (or equivalent Skills & Knowledge) with an indentured apprenticeship and further trade experience in an appropriate fields.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
