A Manufacturing organisation based in Gloucester is currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team.
Working in the head office function, this is a newly created role reporting to the Financial Controller and will encompass elements of financial as well as management accounting.
Duties will include:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Month end analysis and reporting
- Consolidation of accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with the audit trail
- Liaising with the Financial Controller regarding commercial decisions based around financial performance
- Other ad hoc tasks including project accounting and process improvements
The successful candidate will be either qualified or nearing the end of their ACCA/CIMA qualification and have experience of putting together a full set of management accounts. Strong excel and analytical skills are also essential.
