WELFARE ADVISER
20 hours per week (Job Share) £26,052 - £32,004 pro rata
The role will involve dealing with individual casework relating to educational and general student welfare issues. You will also be required to represent students within the University and to external organisations and assist with the operation and administration of the Student Batch Scheme. You must be able to communicate well and demonstrate a general understanding of both the academic and welfare issues affecting students.
Experience of working as an adviser is essential as is proven experience of casework and being responsible for own caseload. Knowledge of the immigration system pertaining to students is desirable as is experience of working in an education environment.
