We're looking for a detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant who can bring immaculate workmanship, strong organisational skills and pride in what they do to Redgate's Facilities team. At Redgate, Facilities is not just business as usual - you'll be joining a creative, innovative and proactive team who aim to delight, whilst also keeping Redgate's building and workspace in outstanding condition.

The role involves routine health & safety testing (including fire alarm and emergency lighting testing), monitoring the status of the plant room, moving and assembling furniture, responding to urgent building issues like leaks and power cuts, liaising with contractors and any other ad hoc maintenance duties that may be required.

The role is varied and no two days are the same. You'll be supporting the Facilities team in responding to ad hoc requests and issues that are coming through the help desk, helping to ensure that the office environment is working smoothly and safely. This could include responsibilities such as: fixing safety hazards, changing lamps, setting up power for new desks, supporting the Facilities team with onsite and offsite storage management, dosing of pipework or descaling of bathrooms.

What makes your Redgate's next Maintenance Assistant?

  • You've got experience in dealing with the issues you'd face in this role; this could be as part of another role or outside of work.
  • You're approachable and have excellent communication skills.
  • You've got great and organisational skills, with a flexible approach to helping others.
  • You're proactive and eager to help.
  • You're health and safety conscious.

  • £7,000 - £9,000 per annum
  • A great benefits package.
