Sessional Tutors required in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire
WEA East Midlands Region is looking to recruit new tutors within Derby City, Derbyshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire
The WEA is working with St Ann's Advice Group (on behalf of Advice Nottingham) and a range of partners on a ‘Money Sorted in D2N2' project. This project is jointly funded by the Big Lottery and the European Social Fund. The project aim is to provide support to people who are financially excluded, in order to improve their financial management skills, thereby addressing a contributory factor to social exclusion and poverty. Do you specialise in teaching adults in:
- Cooking on a Budget
- Budgeting
- Comparing credit
- How to Get A Bank Account
- Coping with Debt
- Saving moving on household bills
- How/where to save
- Selling items on-line
- Or would you like to teach an accredited money mentor training programme?
If so, then we want to hear from you. The successful applicants will have teaching experience, preferably hold a teaching qualification or be willing to achieve one in the first 12 months of employment, have an understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion and be able to apply this in the classroom, as well as an engaging teaching style and an interest in adult education.
