The Workers' Educational Association [WEA] is the UK's largest voluntary sector provider of adult education. We are a charity with a strong sense of social purpose, dedicated to bringing great teaching into the heart of local communities.

The WEA East Midlands Region is seeking to recruit staff to join an ambitious team to further develop the charity's mission.  As part of the Building Better Opportunities programme jointly funded by the Big Lottery and the European Social Fund, the WEA is recruiting a Project Coordinator for two educational projects designed to support unemployed or economically inactive. The first, ‘Money Sorted in D2N2', based within Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, offers a programme of person centred support and a range of bespoke interventions designed to enable people experiencing financial crisis and financial hardship to take control, build confidence, and improve their money management skills to tackle their problems and move out of poverty and exclusion. The second, ‘Engagement into Learning', based in Greater Lincolnshire, brings together a strong network of local delivery partners to build on existing employability provision to support adults to move closer towards the labour market.
