You will be responsible for producing the statutory accounts for all Group entities and being a key contact for the monthly submission of statutory information to the consolidation team.

My client are an internationally recognisable business who supply some of the worlds biggest brands. Following a number of acquisitions they are now looking to add a talented Financial Accountant into their team in South Cheshire.
Description
- Manage the monthly statutory reporting for consolidation purposes.
- Production of the statutory accounts
- Produce the balance sheets for all statutory entities within the UK Group structure, highlighting trends, risks, exceptions and potential control issues as appropriate.
- Work with other business/finance functions to reduce balance sheet risk across the group.
- Produce the cash flow for the group and report on variances to budget/ forecast
- Maintain up to date accounting standards knowledge and highlight changes impacting the group entities accordingly.
- Assist in the production of corporation tax calculations and payments.
- Assist in ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the business, in relation to financial accounting elements.
Profile
- Ideally ACA qualified with strong technical accounting background.
- Experience in producing statutory accounts, preferably with consolidated accounting knowledge.
- Ideally worked with SAP.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of group accounting and intercompany transactions.
