Job Title: Laboratory technician
Location: Sheffield
Salary: GBP14,000-GBP18,000
Hours: Flexible hours, Monday -Friday 10.00-18.00
The Client, an inorganic UKAS accredited chemical laboratory based in the Sheffield Area. Services include metal and mineral analysis, mercury screening and environmental testing.
The role responsibilities and duties:
- Carrying chemical procedure with high precision and in accordance with ISO 17025
- Analytical techniques ( ICP-OES, MS, titration, gases analyser)
- Carrying data security checks
- Collaborating in washing laboratory-ware
- Maintaining high house-keeping standards
Competencies/Skills:
- Great attention to detail and competent to deliver high quality of work with minimum supervision.
- Adaptable, flexible and quick learner
- Multitasking and team work
- Strong I.T literate
Qualifications:
Minimum A levels in Science and/or 3+ years working in a chemical Lab Analytical chemistry education is desired
