Clinical Research Proposals Manager

Location: Slough

Salary: GBP55,000

A fantastic opportunity for a Proposals Manager with a strong background in Clinical Research who is passionate about drug development and seeking a challenging and rewarding career in a commercially focussed role.

Experience Required:

*Able to demonstrate at least experience of writing proposals or have reviewed CRO-Biotech/Pharma proposals

*In-depth understanding of clinical development process, services provided and associated terminology

Desirable Experience

*Experience with managing CRO-sponsor relationships and contracts

*Direct management of client accounts in a CROCV / Interview / References

Key Skills:

*Able to write well-constructed, grammatically correct text.

*Demonstrate excellent numeracy skills

*Meet client requests on time and precisely, complying with internal review requirements

*Good analytical skills with ability to manage complex spreadsheets including budget and financial data

*Rigorous attention to detail

*Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

*Can work to deadlines and prioritising a varied workload

*Organisational skills to manage multiple projects

*Commercial awareness on a national and international scale

*Effective and persuasive communicator

Desirable Skills

*Has managed proposal text library

*Experience mentoring peers and junior staff on proposal development principles

*Negotiation of complex contract principles, to ensuring that relationships are not compromised

*Use of a Customer Management System (CMS)Interview / Testing inc. writing and numeracy

JOB FUNCTION

Summary

The primary focus of the Proposals Manager role is:

*Management of proposal development from RFP receipt to delivery, ensuring proposals are delivered accurately, on time.

*Producing responses to client RFIs.

*Development of budgets and payment schedules, requiring complex internal and client negotiation.

*Liaising with all levels of personnel with the company to achieve those objectives.

Key Deliverables - Proposal development

*Preparation of award-winning proposals documents.

*Gathering information from experts within the organisation to ensure key strategies and selling messages are articulated.

*Track and coordinate the development of proposals using department processes.
