Graduate Sales Consultant

Our client is an established supply chain research and analysis business based in the Bath area. Due to continued growth, our client is now recruiting a Graduate Sales Consultant to join their sales and marketing team, responsible for dealing with large UK and global organisations at a senior level. Graduate Sales Consultant - Role Overview The role of the Graduate Sales Consultant will be to provide essential support to the overall sales effort by generating leads, dealing with enquiries and managing accounts. Confidence in using the telephone is essential, as are excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Full training in all aspects of the role will be provided. Opportunities will exist for the successful candidate to progress with some overseas travel after 12 months. Graduate Sales Consultant - Key Responsibilities Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients through answering questions and dealing with renewalsGeneration of leads through identifying decision makers from a pre-defined target list of companiesFollow up of leads generated through marketing campaignsCreating proposalsResponding to enquiriesRepresenting the company at conferences and exhibitionsGathering market and customer feedbackThe role will mainly consist of telephone and email correspondence with some desk/internet-based research. Graduate Sales Consultant - Candidate Competencies Educated to degree standard or equivalent.You must be an enthusiastic and committed team player with a can-do attitude willing to take on additional tasks required to support our client's small, close knit team.You must take an interest in the supply chain industry and be personally responsible for reading around the topic.You must be an effective communicator and happy to share ideas.Have a high standard of spelling and grammar, with excellent attention to detail and 100% accuracy.There will be a continuous workload sometimes with strict timeframes therefore the ability to work under pressure is required.You must be proficient in MS Office programmes. Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in particular. Full training on in-house systems will be provided. Graduate Sales Consultant offering ??18,500 - ??20,500 Basic Salary plus Commission for the successful candidate. All successful candidates will be contacted within 5 days of application.
