Compliance & Training OfficerBath??35,000 - 40,000 per annum + benefitsKelly Services is recruiting for a growing, acquisitive organisation based in Bath for a Compliance Officer.The company has gone through a period of recent change therefore a new position has been recruited to work alongside the Compliance Manager. You will look after your own remit and geographical location, therefore you will be confident in your approach as you will have a good level of responsibility.Due to the industry and nature of the work you will have experience within a FCA regulated environment. Compliance is an integral part of the organisation, whereby you will be giving other team members critical training to ensure that this is upheld.The offices themselves are central, with easy links to the surrounding area you will be based close to the popular shops and restaurants. You would be relocated in open plan offices which include the main function for this regional organisation; it is therefore a busy location. They offer benefits of 25 days holiday, Pension, Life Assurance, Reward Scheme and Income Protection.There is support given by an approachable, strong Compliance Manager, therefore the role will suit someone who is confident in looking after their own work, but is a team player who is able to work with the other Compliance individuals.Duties of the Compliance/Training Officer will include:- Identifying any downfalls, addressing and advising on remedial action- Maintaining knowledge of regulatory developments- Identifying any issues which pose a risk to the company, escalating where necessary- Developing working knowledge of company products- Preparing formal compliance training- Reporting findings from assessments, agreeing remedial action with individuals when necessary- Reviewing files, conducting audits- Compiling file review reportsExperience/ skills required:- Experience within similar Financial Services based role- Good knowledge of FCA principles- Strong communication skills- Good ability to train and educate others- Excellent reporting writing skills- Ability to build long-term relationshipsThere may be some occasional travel when covering other offices, but otherwise it will be based in one location in Bath.Kelly Services is acting as an employment agency on behalf of the client.
