Senior Sales Administrator

Senior sales administrator needed for temporary to permanent position in Taunton Your new companySomerset based manufacturing business with easy transport links and set in a good location seeks a skilled sales administrator with experience in manufacturing, engineering or construction for a busy temporary to permanent role. Your new roleThe position itself is role which will see you take on a number of duties to assist with the day to day running of the organisation by maximising potential in terms of revenue generation and efficiency optimisation. The role also offers excellent career progression to move from senior sales administrator into a head of sales/office manager position; previous experience in office management and team management would also be key to success. Duties for the role include (but are not limited to):Making quotations, processing sales orders and carrying out all the related administrative actions in support of the field sales department to enable it to realise the sales targets.Once you have learned the business from the ground up and are ready you will be progressed into the senior role you would be working closely with the Sales team, Reporting to the commercial director whilst performing the following duties:- Monitoring telephone sales activities.- Managing the inside sales team. - Maintaining the Project Management System. - Consulting the overall weekly production plan and coordinating consultation. - Assist with marketing of the business; whether that be trade fairs, online or other forms of marketing. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in the role you must have a good attention to detail with a high level of communication, organisation and ICT ability. Experience in sales in in a manufacturing, engineering or construction setting would also be desirable and previous experience managing a team or office would also be desirable however junior candidates will also be considered. What you'll get in returnYou will be offered a temporary to permanent role with a salary of ??26,000 - ??30,000 DOE. The role is full time Monday to Friday. You would be taken on permanently after passing up to an 8 week probation.
