Haybrook College educates young people aged 11 to 19 who have challenging and complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) or medical needs. Millside School is a special school for young people with challenging and complex behaviours associated with a SEMH difficulty. There is also a KS3 and KS4 Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) which provides a range of high quality educational programmes helping to make positive changes in the lives of young people and ensuring the best possible educational outcomes. SPORTS COACH MENTORS

Level 3, £17,365 pa Full Time Equivalent including Local Weighting Actual pro rata salary: £14,870 pa (£9.00 per hour)

37 hours per week, term time only + Inset Days

Our Sports Coach Mentors support the learning, achievement and development of pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. They play a key role supporting teachers in the classroom by mentoring young, disaffected people with challenging behaviour to achieve the best possible academic and personal outcomes. They provide additional support for offsite activities, personal development and sports programmes. Experience of working with young people who find a mainstream school environment challenging would be advantageous.
