An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing & Events Administrator to join EACS based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

We are currently looking for a Marketing & Events Administrator to provide maternity leave cover within the Marketing Department. This is an exciting position which would ideally start from Feb / March 2017 to allow a full handover from the current Administrator and the opportunity to receive on-the-job training and assist with planning a large event. 

The post-holder will primarily be responsible for the organisation and promotion of all company events, both online and offline. These range from small workshops held at our offices to much larger multi-vendor events with multiple presentations and exhibition stands held at locations around the country.

As a Marketing & Events Administrator your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Providing administrative support to the Marketing Manager
  • Updating company literature
  • Assisting with copywriting and proof reading
  • Processing funding requests and claims 

An ideal Marketing & Events Administrator will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate must be highly organised and never miss a deadline, able to cope under pressure and have good communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills are essential, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher. Marketing experience would be an advantage but is not necessary as training will be given.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in administration who wants to pursue a career in marketing, or for someone who has previously worked in marketing but had a career break and would like to refresh their skills. A part time role may be possible for the right candidate, but ideally this is a full time position. Although this is only a temporary position and there is no guarantee of a permanent role at the end of the contract, consideration may be given to the successful candidate should there be a suitable position available for which the individual is interested in.

In return for this you will receive a salary of £17,000 - £20,000 depending on experience.
