This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the major providers of education and training in Yorkshire and Humberside. Our client is one of the largest providers of A Level and vocational programmes for 16 to 19 year olds in the region. About the Role
The College is seeking a suitably qualified health and safety professional to assist in the continued development and promotion of a safe and healthy working culture. You will provide advice and support to staff and students on all health and safety matters and contribute to internal training events, internal audits of college areas, and the development of policies and procedures. You will also carry out health and safety vetting and monitoring visits of work placement providers for students. A current driving licence is essential.

Applicants must possess a NEBOSH Certificate (or an equivalent level qualification) and have significant experience of carrying out audits and inspections, delivering health and safety training, and be competent in providing advice and support on a range of health and safety matters.

There is flexibility over the precise working days, subject to this being for a minimum of 3 days per week.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure check.
