Location: Worcester

Hours: 8am - 5pm (flexible)

The company is established in Temporary and Permanent recruitment in the West Midlands, mainly Worcestershire and Herefordshire, and have begun developing contract recruitment via dual-desks. The company is now looking for an experienced Contract Recruiter to join them to develop a successful contract division, by taking ownership and eventually building your own team, if that is a route you are keen to pursue.
Open to any specialist area the company already has established perm specialisms within IT, Engineering and Finance, so any of those could match well. However, the agency would also be open to others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate best practice, setting an example of 'what good looks like' at all times acting as role model to more junior members of staff - striving for excellence, upholding the company values.
- Take the lead in coordinating team revenue-driving activities, such as "BD Power Hours"
- Lead additional projects outside of the normal duties to deliver added value to the business, or to improve processes/ working practices.
- On-desk coaching/ training of other consultants as required and delivering appropriate Talent Builder modules
- Contribute to the preparation of PSL tenders with senior staff/Directors as required
- Contribute new ideas for business development and marketing for discussion with management
- Create a detailed recruitment plan for vacancies in line with client requirements and specified time frames
- Confidently lead the recruitment process for the client to ensure prompt placement
- Continually develop and refine your candidate engagement strategy to ensure consistent flow of candidates within given division.
- Headhunt passive candidates through database management, referrals and social media
- Engage in first contact and initial pre-screening of candidates through telephone interviews.
- Conducting in-depth Face-to-face interviews, including the use of Skype where appropriate to assess candidate's skills and suitability including carrying out relevant assessment of skills as required
- Effectively prepare and produce full and detailed job descriptions / person specification from clients brief as required.
- Create professional and effective job advertisements across appropriate media.
- Proactively research, investigate and trial new methods of candidate sourcing, such as new technologies, tools or training opportunities.
- Take responsibility for achieving revenue targets
- Covering for senior colleagues during holiday/sickness
- Assisting Divisional Managers and Directors as and when necessary and supporting the team in the pursuit of new business
- Offer consultation and advice to both client and candidates on current salaries and local employment market information, training and career progression.
- Be able to write a business plan initially for the desk and subsequently for the division.
- You will be responsible for building a team at an appropriate time and then leading that team to success as the contracts division.
Key Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have a recruitment contracts back ground.
- The candidate must have a contract recruitment back ground
- The candidate must be at a senior level in recruitment
- Previous leadership experience is desirable
- It is essential that the candidate lives within a commutable distance of Kidderminster or Worcester
