The Position
Due to the refurbishments of our spa which will include 5 new treatment rooms and a new nail bar we are looking for two full time Senior Spa Therapists to come and assist the spa management in the smooth running of the spa. We are looking for NVQ level 2 Beauty Therapy qualified or equivalent, this role will require you provide our customers with high quality Elemis treatments in a relaxed and tranquil environment.
Senior Spa Therapist Responsibilities
Full Elemis training will be given. As our Senior Spa Therapist, you will be required to develop a good understanding of all Elemis treatments and products enabling you to actively encourage sales and inform clients about treatments.

Senior Spa Therapist Responsibilities
- Ensure the spa is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Responsible for carrying out checks on all treatment rooms ensuring the high standard is maintained
- Coach and mentor spa therapists to maintain consistently high standards of treatment delivery and ensuring any issues are reported to spa management
- Responsible for re-stocking of treatment rooms and report low stock levels to the spa management
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
- Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
- Carry out treatments to the highest professional standard
- Undertake full assessment of clients’ requirements and suitability of treatments and products offered
- A high standard of personal appearance and presentation is essential at all times, reflecting the luxury ambience of the spa
- Carrying out any other reasonable tasks required by the spa management to aid the smooth running of the spa
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar senior position within a 5 star environment
- At least NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent
- Ability to carry out variety of treatments demonstrating confidence and competence which include; massage, waxing, manicures and pedicures and holistic therapy
- Elemis training would be an advantage however full training will be provided
- The spa is operational seven days a week so flexibility with evening and weekend work is required
