As a leading technology provider, our client operates at the forefront of their industry. They are now looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support their high profile client, a world-renowned independent boarding school, based in Windsor.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the performance and reliability of the school’s networks, which are fundamental to the organisation’s ongoing success. 

You’ll provide day-to-day network support, as well as working on network enhancement and change projects for a variety of network equipment. 

Additionally, you’ll install and maintain network edge and core switches and oversee the server rooms, including cable management. 

Your other duties will involve: 

- Carrying out real-time monitoring and management using the latest tools 
- Performing port changes and patching 
- VoIP and WiFi management 
- Occasionally installing and maintaining network cabling, including fibre and copper 

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you must have some (ideally all) of the following: 

- Previous experience as a Networking Engineer

- A networking certification, such as CCNA, Citrix or Juniper

As a Senior Network Engineer, you must have a strong customer-focus and a logical approach to problem-solving. Excellent prioritisation and planning skills are also key. 

Due to the requirements of this role, candidates must live within a commutable distance of Windsor, where the school is located.
