Content Manager

Our client is looking for the mahatma of digital content to take the reins of their specialist team. Their Content Specialists already have tons of experience (not to mention awards), but they want the best Content Manager in the market to create a vision that will take them to the next level. You will be responsible for managing and developing a team of experts whilst leading by example and shaping an efficient and quality-driven client offering.

Their Content Specialists create poignant, persuasive, fresh and relevant content that is fully tailored to meet the needs of the target audience. They have learnt how to choose the optimum medium - be it an infographic, video, social media messaging, blog posts or a detailed written guide, case study or review. The possibilities are endless and you will instil confidence in the team to try and appraise new approaches.

You and your specialists will expertly research and source data to create content that reaches and appeals to as wide an audience as possible. To do this you will be adept at navigating the news and digital landscapes, appreciating trends and speaking to the right influencers to construct credible and newsworthy content. Following content trends within SEO will be key, whilst understanding best practice in relation to keywords and Technical SEO.

You'll have other specialist managers and units contributing to the success of your team. The project Management team help to translate their client's objectives and their promotion specialists (responsible for promoting their content) help to determine the best possible approach.

Digital know-how is non-negotiable. You will have a proven understanding of what works online. Meticulous attention to detail is a must have. And expert knowledge of written and non-written content best practice goes without saying. You'll also have a can-do attitude and line management experience is highly desirable. You'll work in a colourful and creative environment and be rewarded with great benefits and exciting projects.
