Business Development Specialist: A Business Development Specialist for lenses and digital services is required to join a global tier 1 company at their European headquarters. As Business Development Specialist you will be at the heart of the lenses and digital services businesses, and in contact with the European markets on a daily basis to coordinate go-to-market plans, channel partner investment and activity plans, business development and sales achievements and reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Close communication and collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and country organisations to maximise overall Consumer Imaging business development.

2. Commercial budgeting and Go-To-Market plans:
* Develop product/market/channel partner strategy in line with Go-To-Market Plan and Channel Management Strategy.
* Create and negotiate budgets (sales targets) with relevant stakeholders.
* Implement budget directives according to the European commercial budgeting process.

3. Channel partner investments and activity plans:
* Manage channel partner investments and activity plans on pan-European level to achieve sales targets.
* Drive European channel partner activity plans and manage central investment funds.

4. Business Development and sales achievement:
* Analyse sales performance.
* Monitor market share and work with NSOs on corrective actions.
* Identify business opportunities across Europe and support sales teams to convert into sales.
* Team-up with European Demand & Supply teams to steer demand on available products.

5. Forecasting and sales performance:
* Analyse Monthly Sales Forecasts from NSO and validate with relevant stakeholders.
* Track sales target achievements and drive corrective measures in case of consistent underachievement of sales targets.

Skills and Experience:
*Excellent business sense, and strong commercial attitude.
*Knowledge of/ interest in imaging technology highly advantageous.
*Excellent leadership, inspirational and influencing qualities, gets results through others.
*Strategic thinking and able to translate into operational improvements.
*European outlook - able to perform within cross-functional organisational complexity in a rapidly changing and highly competitive market.
*Excellent communicator to bring the vision to life.
*Passionate and courageous, determined and assertive in getting the point across and delivering the results.

Essential Requirements:
*Product manager / sales development experience in a large organisation.
*Relevant university degree or equivalent.
*Fluency in English, other European languages advantageous.
