A provider of Road, Sea and Air Freight services to a range of customers is looking for an Internal Sales / Account Management professional to join their team based in the Midlands as a result ofcontinued business growth.

The purpose of this position is to further assist in the growth of the company by establishing, developing and securing profitable and sustainable new business.

Activities include:

- Actively create opportunities & secure profitable business for the growth of the company.
- Develop internal account base by upselling courier, freight services and packing services.
- Profile accounts in details to determine requirements for the internal pricing team to find an appropriate solution.
- Update CRM system with data for sales forecasting.
- Liaise directly with Operations and Sales Support for pricing and service options.
- Quote customers directly and negotiate to secure business.
- Promote and advise customers on the company booking and tracking system
- Meet set out weekly/monthly sales KPI's
- Reporting directly to the Sales Director.

Desired profile

- At least 2 years sales experience within the Logistics industry (combination of forwarding and courier preferred).
- Confidence selling export packing and multi-modal 3PL solutions through a combination of telesales and account management.
- Proven experience dealing with customers and prospects on all levels.
- Excellent negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Adaptable sales approach and ability to covert business in challenging environments.
- Be self-motivated, self-driven and focused on quality and profitability business.
- Methodical approach to administration and CRM systems.
- Abilities to prioritise workload.
- Have a friendly, professional and dynamic personality.

Package

- Starting Salary - GBP20-25K (negotiable - dependant on experience).
- Monthly sales incentives based on the growth of profit and sales for the territory.
