Nursery Nurse Apprentice

Cascades Childcare in Clitheroe, Lancashire are looking for a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice, Male or female who would like to work towards gaining their Level 3 qualification.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing person who will build positive relationships with children, families and staff.

Based in the centre of the beautiful market town of Clitheroe, Ribble Valley we work alongside the maintained Nursery School and work closely with the Nursery School teachers. Both Cascades Childcare and the Nursery School have ‘Good’ OFSTED grading. We are well respected in the community and pride ourselves on supporting families and children with SEND.

Minimum GCSE A-C grades in Maths and English however we will consider candidates willing to work towards equivalent if they meet all other requirements.

ICT GCSE grades A-C desirable but not a must have.

Ability to speak Polish or Urdu is desirable but not essential.

Hours 30-40 per week for 52.143 weeks.  20 days paid holiday plus 8 bank holidays.  Initially paying National wage per age – Approx. monthly wage: over 21 £873, or 18-21 £691, or under 18 £504.  All salaries are gross before tax based on 30 hours.
