Accounts Assistant / Semi-Senior

An expanding, well known independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Northamptonshire is seeking to appoint an additional accountant to its team due to increasing demand for their services. A very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative and extremely successful team of specialist accountants, working within a thriving accountancy practice who have remained independent for many years.

The Role - You will have the opportunity to work within the firm's general practice area, working on clients ranging from sole traders and Partnerships to small and medium limited companies. This role would suit an accounting professional who is looking for a fresh challenge.

The Candidate - Ideally, you will be qualified AAT or Part-Qualified ACA or ACCA however QBE personnel will also be considered. Essential is your experience within Accounts Preparation and the ability to work closely with key clients. Sound practical experience as well as good technical skills is essential. Candidates should also possess excellent communication skills and problem solving and decision making ability. In addition you should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, team-building ability, strong commercial awareness and excellent system and spread sheet skills.
